We have a very grief update today. For a long time, nobody except for Asya Savicheva’s family and people closest to IQ models knew about this situation. It was a difficult step to take – explaining the sorrow that came deep into our minds and souls at the beginning of spring, 2006. But since we never lost our faith, not for one minute, that having completed the treatment course Asya will not only get better, but become a worldwide famous top model, we realized that without the story that we’re going to tell you today all our future updates concerning Asya’s future successes will not be complete. And we are completely confident in her future victories even now, when Asya is in the middle of having chemotherapy treatment, with the aid of which the most experienced doctors of the Blokhin’s Center of Cancer Treatment are to cure our dear Asya from lymphatic glands CANCER – lymphogranulomatosis. We believe there’s no need to delve into the details of a chemotherapy course, which is currently the most widespread treatment against cancer. It’s suffice to say that the people who go through this treatment course temporarily almost fully lose their immune system, are completely unable to properly digest food, lose all their hair; their skin becomes dry and lifeless, and if you even slightly press on it, that leaves brown traces that won’t heal for weeks. But seeing Asya handle it – not allowing the illness, nor the extremely hard treatment she’s going through, to break her, not one bit, to steal her cheerful smile for longer than few seconds, we can confidently say that THIS GIRL WILL BECOME A SUPERMODEL!!! Of course Asya will recover – thanks to the best possible treatment course available today, and also thanks to the support she’s getting from almost every model in our agency, as well as from our managers, our friends and partners. But foremost – thanks to Asya herself. Because, yes, of course, every one of us, who knew about Asya’s situation, supported her and helped her the best he can. But if Asya didn’t fight for herself, having firm confidence in her undoubtedly brilliant future, the most we could say about her would be that she will eventually get better. However, just seeing HOW she’s fighting, knowing what a great amount of life force she’s mobilizing for her battle against cancer keeping her unforgettable smile on, we’re saying, without the slightest bit of doubt – Asya Savicheva will not only recover, she will undoubtedly become a worldwide famous superstar! And because of this, realizing this, despite all the difficulties of the moment, we’re publishing this update TODAY. And moreover, we promise – this will not be the last update about Asya!
